General Summary:

The Public Integrity Division focuses on election crimes and crimes committed in the course and scope of public employment. A Paralegal within the division supports prosecutors by organizing evidence, managing case files, preparing discovery, and helping track complex investigations and prosecutions. The Paralegal plays a key role in reviewing documents and maintaining secure, well-structured case management.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare reports with tasks to be completed for open cases and investigations
• Monitor deadlines, schedules, and compliance with discovery obligations
• Manage case files, maintain secure databases, and ensure proper handling of confidential or sensitive info
• Attend witness meetings and court trials.
• Support trial prep by organizing evidence and assisting ADAs as needed.
• Draft GJ subpoenas and maintain GJ responses

• Strong organizational and case-management abilities
• Effective communication and collaboration with coworkers, government agencies, and the public
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strict adherence to ethical rules and moral guidelines
• Competence with legal software, document-management tools, and digital evidence platforms
• Comfort with large volumes of documents, including financial records and government data

Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours may vary based on the business needs of the department.

Required Education:

• Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies or a paralegal certificate.

Salary (Starting):

• $28.28 hourly/ $4,901.87 monthly/ $58,822.40 annually
